His poem "U.S. Veteran -- American Boys and Girls" was published by the National Library of Poetry [Fall 1996]. The book is called Daybreak on the Land.

One of his collections of poems about his experience in Vietnam has been sent to publishers in Texas and Arizona at the suggestion of Dr. Roland Hinojosa Smith, Professor of English at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.

His hobbies are shooting baskets, listening to music, reading and writing. Art is the founder of The Poet Tree.
